Account Executive - Smithtown, NY (Remote or Hybrid)
Work Week: 4.5 days remote
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 + Benefits & Bonus
Our client, a 30+ person broker known for its professional work environment, is currently searching for an Account Executive to run a general commercial book of middle market business.
The position involves retention, relationship management, risk analysis, coverage knowledge, negotiating with underwriters, servicing policies, and placing new and renewal business ($50,000 to $600,000 PV). The right candidate is professional, career motivated, innovative, and works well with underwriters.
Qualifications:
• Strong client retention and conflict resolution skills
• Minimum 7 years marketing or servicing mid-market business
• Experience with multiple carrier rating systems and navigating carrier websites
• Able to present to clients and negotiate with underwriters
• Capacity to multi-task and be flexible to changing client needs
• Self-motivated with a high degree of professionalism
• Applied/Epic or similar data management system knowledge is a plus
• Brokers License
